Hello!
My name is Sadra Khosravi and I am a Full-stack Developer.
I’m a full-stack developer specializing in designing, architecting, and building data driven applications and digital experiences for the web and desktop computers. Currently, I am focused on building high-precision and performant medical software.
About
Background
Hello! My name is Sadra Khosravi and I am a full-stack developer based in Vancouver, B.C. I enjoy designing and developing digital experiences and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I started designing websites with WordPress back in 2016. Working with different themes and page builders taught me valuable experience in how a website can be formed from an idea to a production ready state.
I have worked on number of projects ranging from static, content-driven, and data-driven websites and applications. My current focus is on developing a full fledged data acquisition software for NIRS medical experiments at the International Collaboration on Research Discovery (ICORD).
My current tech-stack:
- - Typescript
- - NodeJS
- - ElectronJS
- - React
- - Redux
- - Gatsby
- - GraphQL
- - RestAPI

Software Developer - ICORD
April 2021 - Present
- Wrote a modern, performant, and robust TypeScript code to create a scalable native cross-platform data acquisition software that would read data from NIRS sensors, apply calculations and filter, and would display it on 4 channels in real time. Stack: Electron, React, Node, and SQLite.
- Identified memory leaks in the React front-end by comparing heap snapshots of the program in idle and heavy load situations.
- Re-implemented a stable Hardware Access Layer in C++ and increased the NIRS sensor sampling rate from 25 to 100 samples/sec.
- Developed a data socket transfer feature in NodeJS that would transfer the sensor’s real time data over TCP to other applications such as MATLAB, LabChart Lightning and other data acquisition software.
WordPress Developer - IC Journal
May 2020 - April 2021
- Developed multiple custom Elementor addons to compliment the design and functionality needed to display posts and other content.
- Built a migration tool to download data from Wix API and upload it to WordPress via its REST API.
- Reduced website’s time to first byte by 65% and the total load time by 6.5 seconds by minifying files, deferring scripts, and lazy loading images.
- Designed multiple graphics and visuals for events and posts.
